Took about five minutes to swap out the Pilot G2 guts for the Schmidt Easyflow 9000, and the ballpoint action is noticeably smoother on cheap paper than any rollerball I've tried. The black ink dries fast enough that I'm not smearing my notes anymore, which is exactly what I needed.
