The machined aluminum feels flawless, and those black Delrin inserts keep my pens from rolling around or scratching. It's got a nice weight that anchors it on my desk, and the cube shape looks sharp between my notebook and monitor.
It's surprisingly hefty for its size, which makes me feel like I finally have a desk accessory that will outlast everything else on it. The black Delrin inserts grip my pens snugly without scratching them, and the rubber base keeps it from sliding around even when I'm grabbing things one-handed.
I was a little worried it would feel too heavy for my desk, but the machined aluminum is just the right heft and the rubber base keeps it from sliding around. My one pen slides in and out of the black Delrin insert perfectly without any wobble, which is exactly what I wanted.
